Representatives of the Yinka Esther Odumakinde (YEO) Foundation paid a courtesy visit to President Yinka Odumakinde at Banana Island, Lagos, last weekend.
During the meeting, Mrs. Odumakinde informed the team that the Foundation is geared toward providing a level playing field and establishing a profitable business for women. She highlighted the importance of continuous education on proper bookkeeping and standardization for businesses to thrive.
Among the issues discussed were the importance of education to ensure female financial independence and the stereotypical role, including poverty that continues to hinder equality in the marketplace.
On her part, Mrs. Funmi Dina gave a brief history of the Comfort Chef Catering School and her success story while emphasizing the need for collaboration between her Institute and YEO Foundation.
