Oyeyimika Adeboye joined the Board of Cadbury Nigeria Plc. as Finance and Strategy Director in November 2008. Prior to joining the Board, Mrs Adeboye was the Chief Financial Officer and Director of Finance of Nigerian Bottling Company Plc, a company that she served for 13 years. She had previously worked for the Nigeria Accounting Practice of Arthur Andersen & Co and the United Kingdom Accounting Practice of Midgley Snelling & Co, Chartered Accountants where she trained as an articled clerk.
Mrs Adeboye has an impressive track record in finance, strategy and business administration both in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Nigeria. Mrs Adeboye has a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Accounting from the University College, Cardiff in Wales.
Mrs Adeboye is a director on the Board of Cadbury Ghana Limited and Odutola Holdings Limited.
Oyeyimika Adeboye is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Timothy Adeola Odutola Foundation, a family owned philanthropic foundation set up for the purpose of providing educational, industrial and technological development of Nigerian youths who may be unable to gain admission into higher education. The focus of the foundation is to ensure our youths are gainfully employed and able to contribute to the development of our nation.
She had also worked with Freedom Foundation an NGO created to carry out the mandate of pioneering social reformation within our communities in Nigeria. As part of her philanthropic work, Mrs Adeboye was the chairperson of the Advisory Board of Genesis House until June 2015. Genesis House provides residential rehabilitation facility for abused, disadvantaged adolescent girls.
Oyeyimika and Ayodele have been married for 22 years and have three lovely children.

Henrietta Onwuegbuzie

Henrietta Onwuegbuzie leads sessions in entrepreneurship on the MBA and Executive programmes at Lagos Business School (LBS) and is currently the Academic Director for the Owner-Manager Programme and Project Director for the Impact Investing policy initiative at the Lagos Business School. She has an MSc in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Navarre in Spain and an MBA from Lagos Business School, and a PhD in Management (Entrepreneurship), from Lancaster University, UK.
Prior to joining the LBS faculty, she managed non-profit educational projects for the development of women in different states in Nigeria and subsequently, worked in the banking sector with key responsibilities in corporate banking. Henrietta is a member of the Governing Council of the African Forum in Brussels and sits on the Board of a number of Nigerian companies. She has extensive consulting experience, spanning projects at the State level to conglomerates and SME’s in various industries. On a voluntary basis, she mentors a number of aspiring and established entrepreneurs.
Her areas of interest include strategies for entrepreneurial growth in developing countries, indigenous entrepreneurship, as well as the development of low-cost high impact business models that can be applied to both small and large-scale businesses. Other areas of interest include designing frameworks for generating systematic innovation and writing winning business plans.
Henrietta has spoken at several international conferences on developmental issues. Her conference paper on indigenous entrepreneurship won the award for the best overall conference paper in 2011, at the IAABD conference in Canada. She also won the first prize 2010/2011 Emerald/ALCS African Management Research Fund Award. She has written several case studies in entrepreneurship and Decision-making and won the first prize for the Emerald/AABS case writing competition for 2012. She was recently conferred the 2013 African Women Development Champion Award by the Centre for Economic and Leadership Development.

Bimpe Nkontchou

Bimpe Nkontchou oversees client relationship management at W8 Advisory, as well as providing in-house legal, tax and real estate advisory support for clients. She is a dually qualified lawyer, with over 30 years’ collective experience in England & Wales and in Nigeria respectively. She was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1987 and qualified as a Solicitor in the UK in 1997.
She was previously founder and managing partner of Addie & Co. Solicitors in London, with a specialist private client department, which advised affluent African entrepreneurs on asset and wealth management issues for 16 years. She is a qualified Trust & Estate Adviser, an accredited Family Business Adviser and also holds a diploma in International Trust Management. She recently became a Member of the English Bar and a member of the Honourable Order of the Middle Temple.
Her work includes advising affluent African business owners on important issues surrounding asset and wealth management and family business succession planning. She offers essential advice on the value of sound corporate and family governance to support the growth and continuity of the founding owner’s vision and legacy.

Tomilola Somefun

Mrs. Tomilola Somefun is a seasoned and accomplished financial professional with over three decades of hands-on experience spanning Business Development, Treasury, Investment Banking, Audit and Business Consulting. A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, she graduated from the Obafemi Awolowo University (formerly University of Ife) in 1981 with a Bachelor of Education in English Language. She has undergone Executive Trainings and Advanced Management Programs at Harvard Business School, Wharton Business School, and University of Columbia Business School; and also an alumnus of INSEAD, Fontainebleau.
In August 2015, she was appointed Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of a reputable retail bank in Nigeria – Unity Bank Plc. Prior to her appointment as Managing Director, she served as the Executive Director overseeing the Lagos and South-West Business Directorates, the Financial Institution Division and Treasury Department of the Bank. Tomi was the Managing Director of UBA Capital & Trust Ltd from 2004 to 2005 and the founding Managing Director/CEO of UBA Pension Custodian Ltd in 2005. She has also worked at KPMG, Arthur Andersen & Co and Ventures & Trusts Ltd.
Her passion for humanity and socioeconomic development informed her appointment to the Board of UBA Foundation. The UBA Foundation is known to focus on sustainable development in communities in the areas of education, economic empowerment, environment and special projects.
Mrs. Somefun is happily married with four children.
