No doubt Nigeria is confronted with daunting challenges in the pursuit
of sustained poverty alleviation, inclusive economic growth, and a more
inclusive tomorrow for entrepreneurs. Guided by our commitment to a
future of greater opportunity for all women, YEO Foundation was born
out of deep compassion to graciously help the less privileged in our
society, most especially, the grassroots women and the children. In the
words of Edmund Burke “If ever there was a need for the good men
and women in our land to rise up to the challenge of reforming our
country, it is now”. Evidence shows that women become powerful
agents of change in their communities when they are empowered and
take on leadership roles. At the heart of the YEO Foundation’s initiative
is the belief that the investment in women is essential to building a
better world.
